Lodging and General Policies

• Room Checkout- 10:00am-If you have a morning hunt scheduled the day of departure, please have all personal items out of the room before leaving on your hunt.
• Hunting Reservations- Please call our office @ (863-464-0268) 24 hrs. prior to time of arrival ​for any changes or updates to be made to your reservation. Failing to do so could result in LFR not being able to accommodate your requests or additional guests. 
• Alcohol- We are not licensed to sell or serve alcoholic beverages; you are more than welcome to bring your own to enjoy after your hunt is over.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Quality Standards
Lightsey Family Ranch prides itself on upholding a high standard of cleanliness throughout its facilities. As our schedule continues to fill rapidly with each passing season, it is essential to maintain these standards to ensure every client enjoys a quality experience. To support our housekeeping team and preserve these expectations, we have established a clear dog policy that all guests are required to follow.

Dog and Pet Restrictions
Effective immediately, dogs and other pets are not permitted to stay inside the lodge or guest rooms under any circumstances, including crated animals. We kindly ask all clients to respect this policy as they would expect in their own homes or places of business. Failure to adhere to these regulations may result in being asked to leave the premises or the refusal of future bookings.

​Exceptions for Hunting Dogs
 If you plan to use your dog for hunting purposes, you must notify the office prior to your scheduled hunt date. In these cases, dogs must remain on a leash at all times when on lodge grounds and must be crated or kenneled outside the lodge building. Under no condition are dogs allowed inside the lodge building.
Dog Walking Guidelines
For bathroom breaks, dogs must be walked at least 50 yards away from the lodge or any building. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines, which help us maintain a welcoming and clean environment for all guests.
